Toasting with the Toastworthy Family

When it comes to celebrating in style, the Toastworthy family has had a lot of practice. My grandma started the tradition; she loved throwing parties. Then my mom took the torch after her passing, and now I took it one step further and created a business around our family passion of hosting and building community. Celebrating in style has been handed down through the generations. So when it was time for my sister’s wedding, the Hedberg family was ready…

Today we are taking a look back at our bash of the summer with a heartwarming recap of my sister's extraordinary wedding at the enchanting Cedar Lake Estates in upstate New York. With our vintage airstream, a beautiful blend of family, friends and friends that have become family, and a picturesque camp venue, the whole wedding was nothing short of magical (I would like to think we made my grandma proud).

Nestled in the embrace of upstate New York's natural beauty, Cedar Lake Estates provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration. What once was an old summer camp has been transformed into a woman-owned event venue that exudes rustic charm without losing timeless elegance. Surrounded by lush forests and the tranquil Cedar Lake, the venue offered a dreamlike atmosphere that set the tone for a fairytale wedding and not to mention it is the perfect venue for an airstream (a winner in our book!).

You better believe that our beloved Toastworthy Airstream, Toasty made the road trip for this special occasion. Toasty wasn’t just camp decorations – but served as a cozy cocktail bar for the lounge area, adding a unique and personal touch to the weekend of celebrations. It was truly an honor to be able to bring Toastworthy, a celebration brand that means so much to me, to a celebration for those I love most.

Thanks to our amazing Team Toastworthy and the team at Cedar Lakes I was able to take a step back, take off my Chief Toasting hat and fulfill my maid of honor duties for the weekend. We started the weekend with a fun and casual rehearsal dinner and then competed our hearts out at a ice-breaker olympics. Maggie and Adam said I Do on a dock overlooking the lake - just barely beating the rain - before we headed inside to the jaw-dropping reception.

Just as much as our family loves to toast we also love color - a defining characteristic across generations. Maggie and Adam’s reception was no exception and radiated with lively pinks and oranges. The pink inspired reception was a Barbie’s dream come true and the custom installation made for the perfect dance floor. That dancefloor was never empty and we all partied the night away!

We then packed up the airstream, bid farewell to Cedar Lake and headed home full of memories of an amazing weekend that truly brought to life what I envisioned when I create Toastworthy. Maggie and Adam - thank you for inviting Toastworthy to join in your celebration and making it so easy to celebrate you both. Your love is something we all look up to and most certainly toast-worthy!

With Love and Cheers,
Sophie
