Ingredients

Serves Four to Six

One Bottle of Rosé

4 Cups of Frozen Strawberries or Watermelon

2 tbsp of Lemon or Grapefruit Juice

1/4 Cup of Vodka

2 tbsp of Simple Syrup (optional)

2 Cups of Crushed Ice

Pro Tip:

If you don’t have a fancy ice machine, you can still make crushed ice. Place ice into a large plastic bag, and use a hammer or mallet to pound the ice. Make sure you bang out all the large pieces. This will help make a perfect slushy texture without any large chunks.
And if you’re looking for an extra bang, you can add in 2 oz of Aperol for some extra sweet and a little bitter!

How To Mix

Step 1

Pick a bold rosé, preferably a pinot noir or merlot. We want a bold flavor to come through the drink. Pour the bottle into an ice tray or a cake sheet. Freeze at least one day before serving. Place the strawberries or watermelon in the freezer as well.

Step 2

In a blender add the vodka and lemon juice first. If you like a sweeter cocktail, add simple syrup to the blender too! Then add the frozen rosé. Turn on your blender to it’s slowest setting. Slowly add the crushed ice until you reach a desired slushy consistency. Be careful not to over add the ice.
